Our client is  looking for an experienced and visionary Engineering Manager to lead our Engineering teams for new product lines. Your key role will be to align engineering projects with our strategic goals and ensure efficient and effective product development. You will lead and develop engineering teams, fostering an environment of innovation and excellence.

Functions

1. Managing engineering teams to deliver product development.
2. Ensuring engineering initiatives are aligned with overall product and business strategies.
3. Collaborating closely with product managers to prioritize and execute development tasks.
4. Conducting regular performance evaluations and providing mentorship to team members.
5. Facilitating effective communication among engineering, product, and executive teams.
6. Promoting continuous improvement in engineering methodologies and processes.
7. Overseeing resource management and project schedules to ensure successful product launches.

Requirements

1. 2+ years of experience as an engineering manager or same-level engineering team management roles
2. Strong understanding of product and business strategy.
3. Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and business leaders.
4. Excellent leadership and communication skills.
5. Fluent English language skills.
6. Business-level Japanese or above.
7. Experience in leading engineering teams developing new products.
8. Experience with agile or scrum development frameworks.
9. Experience in a fast-paced/start-up environment.
