The Purchase Manager will be responsible for managing the procurement of materials and services for interior fit-out projects. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strategic supplier relationships, and effective negotiation skills to ensure cost-efficiency and tim;ely delivery of high-quality materials.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible to source, negotiate and purchase materials for interior fit out projects.
- Preparation of all purchase orders for materials, supplies, and equipment needed for interior
- fit out projects.
- Maintain accurate records of purchase and work orders, invoices.
- Prepare reports on purchasing activities and expenditures for management review.
- New Vendor Development, and Vendors Evaluation. Collecting the competitive quotations,
- Assist with planning, budgeting, purchasing, and scheduling of projects.
- Responsible for following up with the vendors for on time material delivery to meet project deliverables.
- Identify and establish relationships with key suppliers and vendors in the interior fit-outs industry.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all procurement activities.
- Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to purchase orders and deliveries.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field.
- Minimum 5-10 years of experience in procurement, preferably within the interior fit-outs or construction industry.
- Proficiency in ERP Software and MS Office, especially Excel.
- Proven track record of successful supplier negotiations and contract management.
- Strong analyticals skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, organisation and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Proficiency with procurement ERP Software and tools is a MUST.
